So happy to be sorting and sifting through my firs So happy to be sorting and sifting through my first seed order of 2023 from @experimentalfarmnetwork. I hugged it to my chest when it came! LOL. Please check out this great organization of inspiring folks who make it their life’s work to gather and share seeds. Hope to spend a little time in the greenhouse over with weekend when I have a spotter close by. I was able to make a few rotational pedals on the recumbent bike after 30 minutes of stretching this morning at PT. ‘Slow and steady’ has always been my motto, some days slower than others. All good ❤️🪴
Goodbye ol’ knee, you’ve served me well ❤️ Goodbye ol’ knee, you’ve served me well ❤️ Today, I get a new titanium replacement. If you feel so inclined, I’d appreciate some positive thoughts for my surgeon and anesthesiologist and some deep calm and healing for myself. My mental happy place is thinking of planting calendula seeds, violets blooming and being surrounded by my loves 💕

….Cont’d: From what I was told by the owners, ….Cont’d: From what I was told by the owners, it is a Dutch (Holland or Belgium) tea stove. Notice how the base of the original kettle is designed to drop down into the little fire box? Just think that is so cool. While the external condition of the kettle is in very good shape, the inside of it is unusable for boiling water to drink. Just full of rust :( A quick search shows they don’t make these new any longer but there are plenty of old ones available in and around Europe. All of them way too much to spend on shipping. The two small oven compartments are fun. Just hoping that they can be used in some capacity after she’s back to full form and we can light a fire inside. It brings me so much pleasure to see it every day 🔥
In contrast to all of the AI images out there righ In contrast to all of the AI images out there right now, I wanted to share a real-deal portrait of an unbelievable Marketplace beauty I stumbled upon a few weeks ago. The owners are civil war re-enactors who just had this gathering dust and rust in their home. They didn’t utilize this sweet little cook stove but did appreciate its beauty. It needs a little work to get back to full working order, but we are down for the task and Joe will install yet another stove pipe to appease my fire obsession ❤️ 🔥 More details and pics forthcoming…
